yes! I think "happy accidents" are one of the reasons art is so therapuetic -- they teach you that even though things don't always go according to plan, many times the result is even more beautiful than what you originally had in mind! Also, nice use of paint chips -- I love them and always grab a few at the hardware store but I never know what to do with them.
What a gorgeous blog! The way you liken creating to life really strikes a chord with me. I am learning not to try and control the outcome when I paint, but to allow myself to be in the flow...and that's been a great analogy for life too.
